I stayed for one night in this hotel in September 2008 and was not very impressed with it.
I paid £52 for a single room.
I am not sure what star hotel it is. I think its probably a 2 star hotel as it was the cheapest I could find at the time after an extensive internet search.

That's right, no soap, not even a single bar of soap on the sink!
I assumed that it had simply been forgotten by whoever had made up the room because the bed was made up nicely and the room was clean so I went down to reception and told them I had no soap or shampoo.
They answered me like I was dumb and in the wrong and told me that it was travelodge policy not to provide these items!!

The machine only had shampoo for which I paid £2 for a very small bottle. It was 10 p.m. at night and there were no nearby shops I could pop out to for soap.
This is the first hotel I have ever been to that can't provide a simple bar of soap.
