The receptionist asked if we needed any assistance getting to the room and also in the event of fire, asked if we would need assistance.
We were also asked ... ...we had, were told that parking would be free as we have a blue disabled parking badge - the fee is normally 5 pounds. We were told that if we wanted to leave the car in the car park for the day even after checking out the next day, we could.
The room was spacious enough for the wheelchair, as was the bathroom. It was clean, and smelt fresh even though it was a smoking room.

The room was spacious enough for the wheelchair, as was the bathroom. It was clean, and smelt fresh even though it was a smoking room. The bed was large, with a warm duvet and there were extra pillows in the wardrobe if we needed them. There was a TV in the room and tea and coffee making facilities. The bath had a bath seat in it and the shower was hot and powerful. There were plenty of fresh clean towels.
Downstairs in the hotel there is a small friendly bar and restaurant with reasonable prices and a good menu with lots of choice.
We needed to order a taxi and there is a freephone straight through to a local taxi downstairs in the hotel.
There was no noise from anyone when we came back to the hotel, it was quiet all night.
In the morning we went down and had breakfast which is served until 11am - much nicer than your usual 9am finishes! there was a fixed price of £7.50 for breakfast, which seems steep but it was 'all you can eat' and there was a good selection including croissants, muffins, cereals, bacon, egg, sausage etc as well as orange juice tea and coffee.
Our room rate was £75, there are often cheaper deals to be found.
I should just add that due to the new smoking law, the hotel and bar / restaurant have a no smoking policy, but you can smoke in the allocated smoking rooms.
All in all our stay was a good one and I would recommend it and stay there again.
Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: not 5 star!!!! lol
...time well staying at the travelodge in brighton.
It started when my friend said she was going to get married (in Brighton) during gay pride. So me and a few friends set off from our home town in plymouth to get to brighton on the friday night.
Clutching a bottle of vodka in one hand and a travelcase in the other we entered the reception area of the travelodge. everyone being in high spirits seen as it was gay pride.
Well we checked in with one ... ...free everything was clean, tidy and in its rightful place. Can't ask anymore from a tavelodge. Remember these are places to sleep not to get pampered in. you get what you paid for. As for me i will have fond memories of the time i spent at Brighton Travelodge (Ahhhhhhh) ...
