We managed to book 2 nights in this hotel for £26 per room, per night. It really was good value. The room was clean and had all the basics that you need without anything luxurious. We had a nice quiet room and the staff were really friendly and would call you sir / madam when you passed them in the corridor. We couldn't get over how thorough the cleaning staff were - they seemed to be cleaning from 9am to 3pm. There is no breakfast included in the price but you can get a continental breakfast delivered to your room for £4 per person. The downside of this Travelodge is that it is quite far out but the advantage is that it is a nice, quiet area next to Canary Wharf. It is a 5 minute walk to 'East India' Dockland Light Railway station (don't use the underground to get off at Canning Town - it's a long walk). The DLR is really interesting as it is above ground and you can get into central London in 15 minutes. The trains are regular and you can use a Travelcard. All in all - a very good, basic hotel.
