This is a proper budget hotel. Like all Travelodges, the rooms are very basic. No hairdryer or shampoo's/conditioners etc in the bathroom. There are some coffee/tea making facilities though.
The specifics to this hotel - there is underground parking at the hotel costing £5 for the night - this is very reasonable indeed.... it costs £12 at the holiday inn round the corner!!
The staff at check in very polite and efficient. I had booked and paid over the internet so only had to pay for my parking. I didn't have breakfast there but there was a small bar/canteen at the hotel which seemed very busy both in the evening when i arrived and in the morning when i left at breakfast.
I was on the ground floor and i have to admit i didn't get a great nights sleep. The doors bang, the walls are wafer thin and the road outside is busy all night long.
The night cost me £60 which is substantially cheaper than other hotels in the area which to be honest is a good thing as you would feel a bit cheated if you had to pay big bucks for this sort of place. I used it as a one night stop over - and spent less than 12 hours at the hotel - it is perfect that but little else.
