Sahara Hotel and Casino , located 2535 LasVegas Blvd, LasVegas, NV 89109
This Hotel is one of the oldest Hotels in town , must be at least 47 years old. Until abuot 5 years ago, it was pretty neglagted. The rooms and the service wasn't so great or in other words it was real bad.
The walls had paint chips all over , it wasn't too clean either.
5 years ago new ownership took over, they invested few Million Dollars, to fix it and make it look real good. They added a NasCar
Arcade with a Restairant, Roller coaster for the kids, night club who hosted some good entairteners. They fixed the show room and had some reaal great shows such as: Clint Carlini was of the best Elvis empesenator in the world. Debbie Ranoylds, Susanne Barr and more and more.
They added a Caffe open 24 hours with outstandig food and service.

In August 2007, Himself and Yours Truly took our first trip to LasVegas--our premier, if you will. We stayed at the Sahara because our daughter recommended it as an economy-minded base of operations and because she and our son-in-law had already booked a room for their own stay. Lodging at the Sahara would keep our budget intact and would allow us to spend more time with our daughter and son-in-law.
I won't say that these considerations weren't correct for the time and place, but I will say that any return trip to Vegas that includes accommodation at the Sahara will require careful consideration. Before dealing with that conclusion further, let's discuss what we found.
In many respects, the Sahara represents a flashback to the Vegas of another era--that is, the Vegas of Elvis, Sinatra, and the Rat Pack. It's all glitter, glitz ...

I have always loved Belinda Jones books, and I have read near enough all of her books: I Love Capri, On The road to Mr Right, The Paradise Room, Out of the Blue, The Love Acadamy, Cafe Tropicana and now Divas LasVega. The only book of hers I have left to read is The California Club (and the new book which she has coming out soon).
I'm not quite sure where Divas LasVegas comes in the line of her books, it could very possibly be one of, if not, her first book.
I loved all of Jones' previous books, they have all been amazing, and have really captured my imagination, this book was very different and I must say, it isn't the best of her work.
Plot:
Izzy and Jamie have been best friends since they were little girls, for 20 years. And now at 27 they are still as close as ever ...
