Travel lodge is a huge chain of hotels that have rooms available at great prices up and down the united kingdom. I have been using Travelodge website for some months now and I thought it may be helpful if I wrote this review.

This review is about~ www.Travelodge.co.uk

**Homepage**

This has to be the brains of the website, from here you can do almost everything you would need to do. The homepage is set on a white back ground with mostly orange and blue sections.

Options on the homepage~

*Find a hotel~ Is not the best search to use as it is very limited to what you can enter in to the search engine. To sue this feature all you need to do is enter the town that you wish to stay in. If you enter the town in to the search engine and hit the return button you will get a result within 2/3 seconds. When you result is returned to you it will usually bring up a selection of hotel available in the searched town. You can then easily read more about a particular hotel by click on the relevant one.

*Quick Book~ set in the middle of the homepage this is the option that I always use as it has the best search criteria available on this website. You can easily search for any hotel in the Uk with using limited information, all you need to do is enter the first few letters of the area you wish to stay in and a list will automatically appear on the screen you can then select the hotel you want. Enter the date that you wish to stay in the hotel (nights and rooms), smoking or non smoking, and if you required access for anyone with disability. Finally if you have a promotional code you will be able to enter it at this stage, once you have entered all the details in to then relevant fields all you need to do is hit the search button. Once again you will have super fast result within a few seconds. Your result wall bring up the price and what you are asking for and of course a lovely basic picture of the out side of your hotel. *See below for booking

£26.00 London calling room~ Situated on the right hand side of the homepage is this option, When I first seen it I thought that it would only apply to hotels in London. I was totally wrong in fact this option is available is available to every hotel in the United Kingdom. This is where you will find the cheaper room that are available at selected hotels on selected days. The search on this is nice and easy to use all you need to do is~ Insert the day you want to stay in the hotel and select if you want a £26.00 room or a £10.00 room. When you do the search you will then be shown a table that will show if there are £25.00-£10.00 rooms available. When you see the room and hotel you want all you need to do is select it by click on it.
*Note~ £26/£10 rooms can't be cancelled

*Manchester on business~ Situated on the right of the main page this is the latest special offer available. Just now it's the Manchester offer for £45.00 per room per night. This is to celebrate the amount of hotel that they have in Manchester.

Above options are set in the middle/right of the homepage.

Top of the homepage you have the following options~

*Home~ Clicking this option whilst in any other link will take you back to the main homepage./

*About~ If you want to read a little more about the chain of 275 hotels this is the option that you will need to select, it has the latest information available, along with a list of facilities that are available in the majority of hotels within the group.

*Make a booking~ Nice and easy this part when you have selected the hotel and the days you want to stay then all you need to do is hit the book this room option. You will then have confirmation on the screen what you are booking, you will then need to tell them how many adults and children(under 16). Once you have done that all you need to do is add to basket. Now your basket will appear on the right hand side of the page and you will be able to add more hotels or dates in to the basket once you are ready to complete the transaction all you need to do is select the checkout option.

*Paying~ once the checkout button has been pressed you will then be asked for your own personal details including name, address, telephone number, email address, and then finally you will be asked for your credit/debit card details.

Payment options~ American express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta/Debit, Switch/maestro, and TL Business account card. Please note that they do not except Visa electron and they do not plan to except it in the near future either. Now when you book and pay online all you are doing is securing the room with your card, you are not paying for the room as they expect you to pay for the room on arrival to the hotel. At the hotel you have the option to pay in cash too.

*Booked~ Once this booking has been confirmed you will receive an email that will have a confirmation number. Make sure that you keep this number safe as you will need it should you wish to make any changes to your booking.

*Modify a booking~ I have never used this option on the website but as far as I can see all you need is your confirmation number and your email address.

*Members~ Once you have made your first booking you will become a member of the site and what that means is that should you book rooms via the site in the future all you need to do is select the members option from the top of the home page and enter your email address along with your password that you would have be given on the original booking. This option save you so much time when it comes too bookings as you will never need to enter any of your details again s they are automatically stored.

*Help~ Lets face it we all get stuck on websites from time to time well this website has a really good help page that is full of relevant information and which is also very easy to follow.

*Contact us~ Should you wish to contact the company all you need to do is select this option and then press contact us, you will then be asked to complete a online form to send them. I have to add here that I use this facilities a few weeks ago and I am still waiting reply??

**Other options on the site~

* You can take a 360 degree tour of the room and bath room on this site~ I love this option as you can control the camera too you have the control so you can zoom in and out move the camera up and down. I think this is a great idea especially if you have never stayed at any of these hotels in the past.

*Order a directory~ Yes they will send you a **FREE** directory that has a comprehensive list of every hotel in the Uk. I did receive this directory very quickly when I first applied for it. I would recommend that everyone gets a copy of this as it details all the facilities available at all the 275 hotels

*Food Price~ A nice little feature that I love of this website is that you are able to look at the menu for the hotel, Not only does it give you a comprehensive list of food available but it also includes the price that you will need to pay whilst in the hotel.

**My thoughts**

I have to say that I find this website very easy to use and certainly very easy to search for the best deal available. Knowing that I can see a picture of any of the 275 hotels at a click of a mouse is great, anytime that I have used this site I have never had any problems. I always worried about booking hotels online and never talking to an operator in a lovely call centre and now I think back and ask whey the hell did I worry. I check the website daily for the best possibly deals available and I notice that if you book as far as possible in advance the better the deal is. I have be able to book both £10.00 room and £26.00 rooms on several occasions via the website too which I was totally surprised as I thought it was just one of these adverts to get you in to there site. I also like the fact that you pay per room and not per person as I feel that many people get charged more just because they have children with them. You can book a family room which will sleep 2 adults and 2 kids or you can have a room that will sleep 2 adults only. I also have to credit this website as it has the option when booking to let them know if you require any special access (i.e. wheelchair) I would recommend this site to everyone that is look for easy, straight forward and reliable website for a cheap hotel room.
