Advantages: Small, lightweight, hours of fun, cheap Disadvantages: Nothing!
child to be able to put their treasured possessions. The handle height is a good size for 2 year old as well, it is roughly just at Harry's chest so he has a good area for gripping and he isn't struggling to push the trolley around either, which is a good thing.
We got our trolley from Mothercare, for the bargain price of £5.99. You can also buy it from the Mothercare website if your local store does not stock, although you have to pay a delivery charge of £4.95. It is advertised as being suitable for children aged over 2 years, but Harry is 21 months and fine with it, and I would have been happy letting him play with this once he was walking steadily at about 14 months.
It is worth noting that the trolley could be quite easy to tip over, so don't let your child fill it with objects that are too heavy as it could cause them an injury ...
Advantages: small form factor, long battery life, built in video camera and FM radio Disadvantages: can't play music or videos without headphones
The Apple iPod Nano 5th gen is that much different from the 4th generation. The main features that are noticeable is obviously the video camera. Amazingly the Nano's form factor is exactly the same, if not smaller even with the camera. The video camera is only VGA, nothing special, though it comes in handy and it's only about £10 more than the previous model.
The 5th Gen model also has a larger screen. I love the super clear curved glass display of the previous model, and with the new model having a larger 2.2inch screen, it's just a bonus.
Another great feature I love is the built in FM Radio. I find this feature very useful and convenient and I thought that this was the feature that the previous model lacked.
The 5th Gen Nano has the same long battery life of 24 hours music playback and 5 hours video playback.

Advantages: Quality sound, lots of software Disadvantages: Some software issues with Windows 2000
It was a landmark birthday for me a while back (I?m not telling you which landmark though, or how far back!) and some of my friends clubbed together and bought me this soundcard, mainly because it allows optical recording to mini disc (but more on that later).
I?ve already used Creative soundcards ? in fact I replaced one (a Live! 1024 Value 1024) with this new card. They?re very good pieces of computer equipment indeed, and if you?re thinking about replacing your own soundcard, I recommend Creative as a brand name to consider, irrespective of the card you choose.
OK, the Platinum5.1 card is a serious piece of kit aimed at musicians and people who want their computers to be their home cinema set-ups. The 5.1 refers to the surround sound capabilities of the sound card, but there is so much more to the card.
When you first ...
