Advantages: Fun, easy to use, great features, great games! Disadvantages: Once you pick it up its hard to put down
...I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue.
The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun.
As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name.
As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek,cars ect are great for them.
Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean.

...opponent and kill em, i cant say much for fighting games as the psp wins there with mortal kombat and tekken. but overall its a nice little console that is stylish with descent graphics on most games, plenty of things to do with a very good battery life compare to other handhelds even previous consoles before this by the same company like gameboy and gameboy advance sp oh yeah the ds lite takes the gameboys games aswell....

Advantages: Wide range of games, cheaper than consoles, portable and light weight. Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console
