Sega World, at London Trocadero shopping centre, Shaftsbury Avenue is one of the biggest amusement arcades in the country. This place takes up three or four floors and has hundreds of games of all kinds. Each level or "deck" is organised by category of game - e.g. there's a flight deck, a racing deck, etc... On one of the decks you'll also find dodgem cars and a bar. They have many linked racing games, so you'll be able to compete against your mates. Admission is now free. They used to charge money to get in. When I went there recently many of the games were old, it was not the same as it was a few years ago when the video game press would be down there on Friday nights checking out the latest releases. They're not as quick to purchase new games now. Oh well, it's still a great way to spend a couple of hours and lots of coins!
