My husband recently needed to go to Frankfurt for the weekend on a last minute business trip. I was invited along for the trip -since it was only for the weekend, we did not have time to go out and about eating or drinking, so we had our hopes pinned on the Tryphotel.
The Tryphotel is a four star hotel situated 10-15 minutes from the airport, it is in the busy region of Frankfurt -everywhere you look there are hotels.

We booked with last-minute.com and got our room for 65 Euros per night.
I think that this was good, considering the competition and the fact that we were in the very heart of "hotel land" in Frankfurt - however I do feel that the Euro has made things a lot more expensive.

We were outside work in the car park, three of us enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and Angry Man kicking the wall and smoking a cigarette. "Malaga" he said authoritatively "is a dump." This was a view I was to hear echoed from the minute I booked the flight to Malaga and decided to stop overnight before we travelled further into Spain, right up to getting the train from Malaga Airport. Even as a kindly English lady helped us work the ticket machine, our decision was under question.
I am pleased to report that Malaga is not that bad. In fact (and I'm not saying this to be contrary) - I like it! This was helped in part by our rather well located hotel. The train journey in from the Airport twists through slum like flats, but somehow, these look better than the approach to Paddington in the rain and the 2 euro journey was the start ...
Advantages: SUN SEA SAND AND ....GOOD FOOD! Disadvantages: COMING HOME....
I was luck enough to go to Cuba a short while ago (november 4th 2004) for 17 days at the fabulous tryp cayo coco, what a tryp it was!
This is the most amazing hotel and for those who say it isnt..you must be really hard to please...i read many reviews before i went so had very mixed feelings but when i arrived i was just blown away..a true all inclusive hotel with stunning beaches, great people, very friendly staff, excellant well equipped rooms, stunning views, great food ( especially the pasta! ) and i didnt get bit by one mossi!
we paid £799 each for 17 days so its real value for money too and i would go back in a flash, im going this year in fact!! same hotel same room everything!!
