I found this hotel to be an oasis of calm and assured service during a slightly stressful trip due to travel difficulties with KLM.
Travel from airport: The hotel is approximately midway from airport to city centre. You are recommended to travel by train from the airport, alight at Lellylaan and take the no. 17 tram to Hoekenes, which I found to be just under a 10 minute walk from the hotel; but on further investigation it appeared there was a bus from the airport that dropped off around the corner from the tram stop, probably an extra 10 minutes walk.
If you are on a tight budget, you can get a 24 or 48 hour pass which covers buses and trams but not trains. So if you dont mind a slightly longer hike and want to save money and time, get that bus (No. is on maps of the public transport system).
I took the bus to Lellylaan (no. 145 I think it was, the bus terminus is outside of the airport right in front, after the main train concourse) and then the tram.
The walk to the hotel is 8-10 mjinutes down a rather lonely and ill lit path by the water but the only thing that threatened me was a goose. On arrival I was wet and miserable and was relieved to find the rooms very comfortable and a good size and very clean. Paul, an Irishman who is on reception was EXTREMELY helpful and in sympathy, gave me a drinks voucher. I must have looked awful!
Reception is 24 hours, and always efficient and friendly. I did not eat at the hotel but had a drink with a book in the comfortable bar/lounge/breakfast room.
Overall I enjoyed my trip; the hotel offered good cleaning, nice bathroom and the beds were comfortable. Extremely good value for money I felt and after two trips into town, (15 mins on the tram) you don't care anymore about the transport, its like home.
Very much recommended.

Sorry for the lower rate but ther's not much info in the review about the hotel itself. If you do ever update, please let me know :-)

You have written more about the transport than the actual hotel. Add more information about your room, the facilities, cost etc for a more helpful review. Jo
