This hotel is in a great location. It only took us about 5 minutes to walk to the main shopping area and about 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central Railway station. The transfer from the aiport only took us 10 mins and cost us £6.29 return with Citylink Buses.

If you want a cheep but cheerful hotel for a great weekend in a fabulous place then TulipInn Amsterdam West is for you.
The TulipInn Amsterdam West is a 3 star hotel situated in the western area of Amsterdam (3 stars indicates that the hotel has a quality rating). There are 162 rooms, which are reasonably priced and during my stay there, the room was clean and had maid service every day.
I stayed at the TulipInn Amsterdam West in December 2005 with 3 friends and we booked 2 twin rooms. The trip was extremely good value and was booked through Expedia at a price of £116 each including flights and 2 nights (3 days) stay at the hotel.
The hotel states that it's facilities include; airport transportation (at extra cost), breakfast room (at extra cost), Wireless Internet access, Free Parking, Conference Rooms, a Restaurant ...
Advantages: Well located, polite staff Disadvantages: Strange route to getting to the sauna!

A little bit about Leipzig
Forming part of the Former East Germany, Leipzig is a city of transformation. Although 500 years old, the biggest changes seem to have been happening in the past 15 years. It has seen a lot of the architecture associated with communism removed, while much of it's heritage is refurbished and transformed. There are still elements of communism and those times remaining, strangely one of the sites is opposite to the Marriott hotel! But, as it is currently in the stages of refurbishment, you will have to be quick to catch it!
