nah, not really! once in New York City you should spent at least one night dancing your head off in the Tunnel, believe me it's fun! I 've been there a couple of times already and I never left the location before dawn.
What's so special? Well, if you like House&Trance and a bit of Techno, that's the place to go to. (220 12th Ave/27.Str.) Don't mind the usually long line in front, and GIRLS, you don't have to wait at all! It's helpful to wear something light, because it's hot in there, take my word on that! Furthermore you need good nerves when you need to go, you know potty:), the restrooms are far from what I would call clean, if you got one with running water, consider yourself lucky!
You got one huge hall to dance with a bar in the middle and some GOGOs in cages:) very sexy! Then you got another room all in plush, and a "darkroom" which are the best places to chill, and talk. Usually they have different dj's in each room, but not enough, more possibilities to chill in the "hallways"...and lots and lots of people to meet!
So, when you are around give it a try, to make it cheaper get yourself on the guestlist! as far as I know you can do this online and take a copy with you to prove it;)
