Advantages: Rooms, location, staff, BUFFET!!! Disadvantages: Major renovation going on, pools not themed.
...I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and apart from the renovation going on I cannot fault it. Rooms...amazing, buffet...amazing, location...amazing, staff...amazing! Being located on the south end of the famous 'Strip', the Excalibur is brilliantly located and lies opposite the MGM Grand, Tropicana, New York New York and the Luxor. Being under the same group ownership, there is a free monorail linking the Excalibur to both the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay Resort.
The casino...
