...Normally I fly with Lufthansa, since it is one of the safest airlines, where you do not have the feeling the plane will fall apart in few seconds. In an opinion further above someone complained about having been treated badly for being not German. Well, I am German and encountered also an insolent stewardess, but all the others were fine.
However I cannot say that Lufthansa is very caring and compassionate. My mother became very ill and I should return earlier from Detroit than expected. When asking to change the return date of my ticket, it took me two days and several phone calls and faxes to find out that, although my ticket was quite expensive, there is not possibility to change my return date. When I asked if there were still seats free they said yes, but still they cannot change the ticket. What policy is this? I am not returning...

...Recently flew from London Heathrow to Entebbe in Uganda with Emirates in economy class, mainly because they offered the best price to this less frequently visited destination. This was the first time I had flown Emirates (I am a frequent traveller between the UK and Asia, Australia and the US)
The flights were overall good considering the price I had paid. I was looking forward to the flight given the reputation Emirates has and on the whole was not disappointed.
The pros: The flights were generally on time for each of the four legs travelled and as described above were the best available price on this route. The inflight entertainement varied from plane to plane - on the newest aircraft it was fully interactive with touch screens with a hugh range of movies/tv/music while on the older aircraft (Dubai to/from Africa) the IFE...

The Tombs are located in East Africa, Uganda, Kampala.
For most people visiting Uganda, your first port of call will be in the Buganda Kingdom. Kasubi Tombs Houses the Burial grounds of the last four Kings of the Buganda Kingdom. Converted to Burial grounds in 1884, they are a great source of history about the people of the region.
The tombs will give you an insight in centuries' old traditions of a kingdom that survived not just colonialism but the civil wars that followed. It is a sight not to be missed. You will find weaponry, clothing and portraits of the kings.
The Royal drums are housed at the tombs and they are a sight to behold. To listen to too, if you arrive at the right time. The ceremony with which most things are done will change your view of African...
