I was looking around some some good value fares from UK to vegas. I ended up choosing United Airlines, booking online via their site.
Anyway everything was going swimmingly until we turned up at the airport only to find the flight had been cancelled. Now I know these things happen, but I know for a fact that the plane hadn't even left Chicago, and they didn't tell us. The flight was even shown as on time on the website, it was only at the last minute they told us it had been cancelled. If we had known we could have made alternative arrangements. Anyway thankfully we got rescued by B.A. in the end. We ended up arriving a day late and I'm still trying to get some compensation from them.
