Great for the business traveller

Advantages: Location, clean, lovely rooms, gym

Chester being a place I visit regularly with work means that I have stayed at a number of Chester hotels. Queens has, now become my regular for a number of reasons. It is located bang outside the train station which is excellent if you are travelling by rail as no need to wait for taxis or stagger into town. It is about 5 minutes walk from the town centre and about two minutes walk from the oldest curry house in Chester which is mindblowingly good! ...
...greeted by smiling staff and a lovely concierge (ask him for top places to eat in Chester - he is a fountain of knowledge!!!). There is sometimes sherry on arrival too which is nice. Now the rooms in the main hotel are nice but for a luxury stay ask for a room in the New Kings Extension. It only opened in October and is a few minutes walk from the reception but worth it. Advantages: Location; giant breakfasts
Disadvantages: Smaller rooms than I was expecting

We stayed here with the Tesco clubcard scheme last December and thoroughly enjoyed it. HOTEL LOCATION/DESCRIPTION The hotel is located immediately next to the Park & Ride for Chester Centre. This meant that we could leave our car in the hotel car park and walk the 50 metres to the park & ride. Basic ok for overnight stop

Advantages: Central location
Disadvantages: Basic ok for overnight and short stays.

Stayed at this hotel on several occassions, usually booked in the Travelodge Sale, and always been satisfied. Rooms are basic and good value when booked at discount, but we feel the Premier nearby offers better value if paying the full rate. Rooms have basic tea making facilities, bathrooms with showers over and basic tv packages. Beds have always been comfortable and extra bedding provided on request. If opens are open at night, noise can be a problems as this is on the race route around the town centre. Basic but a good overnight stop

Advantages: Good location, basic accomodation good value at discount rate
Disadvantages: Basic, only ok for short stop over or base.

...are basic as with all travelodge Hotels and have either a bath or shower room. Each room has basic TV and tea making facilities. Beds have been comfortable on each visit and each bedding/pillows provided when requested. The hotel is just off the main A303 but we have never had any issues with noise but have not opened the windows either.
