Service without a smile.
Advantages: Near to Central London, but cheaper. Disadvantages: Everything else.
...searches came up with the Crompton in Lampton Road, Hounslow.

How a B&B should be
Advantages: Well priced, central location to town centre, nice owners Disadvantages: Only a couple of rooms with disabled access
I stayed at Greystones last summer. Im from the area but moved away a long time ago, and had come down to visit relatives.
The building is a large georgian stone townhouse hence its name. My experience
I rang and booked our room although you can also book on the internet now. I spoke with the owner and they were polite and encouraging while they took my booking. Some places dont make you feel like they are that bothered you are booking with them ... ...wanted them.
Location
Greystones address is 152 Hendford Hill, Yeovil, Somerset, BA20 2RG. They are based on the A303. From their own website these are the instructrions to get to them;
Exit from the A303 at the Cartgate roundabout onto the A3088 sign posted Yeovil. At the end of ths road take the third exit at the roundabout. Follow the road directly across next roundabout and continue straight ahead through two sets of traffic lights, past B ...

Christmas at Cranage
Advantages: Attractive hotel, good facilities, excellent party atmosphere Disadvantages: Expensive bar prices, rude waiting staff
...with his work colleagues at Cranage Hall which is in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. As this was some distance from home, we treated ourselves to a night away in the hotel without the kids, making a good night even better! Cranage Hall is part of the Principal Hayley group of conference venues and hotels but for us it was the setting of our Christmas 'do' and a well-deserved night away. Christmas Deals
Our party had taken advantage of one of the ... ...when we pulled up outside Cranage Hall. The exterior is very grand and imposing and it was much bigger than I expected. Our sat nav managed to direct us to the hotel without any problems as the hotel is just a couple of miles out of Holmes Chapel, in the village of Cranage. There was more than adequate car parking available, despite the hotel being packed with other Christmas revellers, although it did mean a short walk over to the main entrance ...

This place should be more than 3 stars!
Advantages: Beautiful location, friendly staff and clean, functional rooms Disadvantages: Too far away from my house!
At the end of November - my Dad was married in Scotland. He booked the Tigh Na Mara hotel out for all the family, this included all the rooms they hotel has so I can helpfully rate the hotel as a whole. The hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation. The hotel also has a bar/pub, and around the back is a restaurant. Both of these are open to the public. The picture which is displayed for the Tigh Na Mara isn't correct - I will attach the correct ... ...beach, which is unspoilt. Opposite The Tigh Na Mara hotel is a park, which consists of 2 adult swings, 2 baby swings, a slide and a see-saw. Also in the village is a Tea Room and a post office/mini-market. The rest is made up of quaint village houses, and the hotel, pub and restaurant of the Tigh Na Mara. Nearby Attractions Located nearby is the town of Stranraer, where ferries can be taken to Ireland. Port Patrick, The Mull of Galloway - which ...

A good nights sleep before your jollies!
Advantages: Clean, close to the airport and decent rooms Disadvantages: None I could find
...the night before in the Holiday inn Gatwick. This is my opinion on the hotel as I was quite pleased with the place and thought it would be worth recommending to others who may need an airport hotel at Gatwick.
Booking:
I booked my room over the phone - I had no choice to do it this way because I receive discounted rates that are only book able over the phone. However it was very quick to get through, easy to book and the gentleman I spoke to was ... ...booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Heathrow but, changed to Gatwick because of flights and was not charged for the amendment as it was done before 1pm on day arrival and the gentleman I spoke to the second time was also very pleasant and quick to help. I cannot fault the booking service at all so give them a thumbs up for this - plus once booked I am able to view it online in my profile.
Getting to the hotel:
We arrived from Gatwick airport and ...
