Worth the visit
Advantages: Quality standards, Good Value for Money, decent Breakfast Disadvantages: Stupid Fire Drills
...a fair bit and with premier travel inn being my companys choice of hotel, it was off for a few nights kip up in ayr!
Ayr it's self is a wonderful place to visit, so I would definatly recommend the visit! Why not spend a few nights! and what better place than the premier travel inn!
On the first night of my visit I arrived at around midnight, feeling very grouchy after a four hour drive!I'll be honest I was a little short with the gentleman behind ... ...really enjoyed my stay at the premier travel inn. However, there was one huge dissapointment. At 4am in te morning they decided to do a fire drill. Why??? Who knows. They left us in the freezing cold for 40 minutes, which wasn't god as I was only in my boxers. ...

Entirely Keen On Enterkine
Advantages: Luxury, peace, quiet and Solitude. Disadvantages: A lot dearer than Travelodge !
...hint that my enthusiasm over Enterkine Hotel is all to do with my stay being a freebie.
And my kindest friends will affirm - with some accuracy - that I would never have stayed there, if I had been required to pay the whole bill myself.
But let me assure you that this glowing report is an honest review of a great 3 day break we have just spent in this little piece of Ayrshire luxury.
It was so good, I'll go back as soon as I can afford it.! - ... ...system. Talk of location in Enterkine terms, and you are talking a beautiful 1930's home set in acres of woodland and fields in the rolling hills of Ayrshire. You are talking about a hotel far enough from the road that not a car can be heard, except those coming up the long winding lane past the gate lodge building.
You are talking of a quiet location, so silent that you actually get to hear yourself think.
The only noises to disturb, are the birds, ...

Basic ok for overnight stop
Advantages: Central location Disadvantages: Basic ok for overnight and short stays.
Stayed at this hotel on several occassions, usually booked in the Travelodge Sale, and always been satisfied. Rooms are basic and good value when booked at discount, but we feel the Premier nearby offers better value if paying the full rate.
Rooms have basic tea making facilities, bathrooms with showers over and basic tv packages. Beds have always been comfortable and extra bedding provided on request. No on site food service other than the shrink ... ...value. Hotel is next to the main shopping centre in Hemel Hempstead where there are several cafes, all a bit pricey. Several other restaurants nearby.
If opens are open at night, noise can be a problems as this is on the race route around the town centre. Car park is small for the number of rooms and finding a space if arriving late at night can be a problem. Car parks are available nearby at a cost. ...

Basic but a good overnight stop
Advantages: Good location, basic accomodation good value at discount rate Disadvantages: Basic, only ok for short stop over or base.
...are basic as with all travelodge Hotels and have either a bath or shower room. Each room has basic TV and tea making facilities. Beds have been comfortable on each visit and each bedding/pillows provided when requested. The hotel is just off the main A303 but we have never had any issues with noise but have not opened the windows either. The hotel is in a small service area next to a Little Chef where basic meals are available. We have not used this ...

Premier Inn Gatwick - Exceptional value for money, comfy & clean!
Advantages: Excellent value for money, very comfortable, clean and tasty food. Disadvantages: A bus ride away from the North terminal
I have flown from Gatwick airport early in the morning on several occasions and have always found it much easier to stay the night before and leisurely wander over to the North Terminal in the morning rather than try and make my way down in the car or on the train. I have stayed at both the Sofitel at Gatwick and the Premier Inn therefore, will review both however please be aware this is for the Premier Inn at Gatwick.
I have stayed at the Premier ... ...shower.
The Premier Inn Gatwick has a restaurant downstairs as well as a bar where you can order food from their bar menu. The restaurant menu is simple but the food is good, and includes dishes such as Spaghetti Bolognese and steak (as of September 2009). The bar menu is a little more basic with dishes such as pizza and burgers taking pride of place. The beauty of the bar menu however, is that you can order your food and then take it back to your ...
