Where's The Wifi, Where's The playstation
Advantages: Reasonably priced, centrally located accommodation Disadvantages: Not everything that was offered online was available
...for, part of the prestigious De Vere group the Royal Bath is situated on Bournemouth’s sea front, just a few yards from the beach, pier, park and Oceanarium. This grand looking hotel offers a fair bit of promise externally as it dominates a large portion of the sea front. Our arrival was different to say the least, as we stepped in the door we were greeted by a selection of guests who were incredibly overdressed leading me to believe initially I ... ...the room comes from the De Vere’s website which promised both Wifi access and an in room playstation. Unable to receive Internet access via my dongle (mobile broadband) I found myself without Internet access for my stay, there was not even a wired Internet option like a lot of hotels have. I could happily live without a playstation, but if I had company that had been expecting it like one of my kids, it could undoubtedly lead to disappointment. Breakfast ...

Marriott hotels - could be better!
Advantages: Many hotels have lesuire facilties, food normally very good Disadvantages: can be expensiveMarriott
...had of staying in a Marriott hotel was in Los Angles and I was most impressed the food was well above average and the staff could not have been more helpful the room we had was very large with two queen sized beds and decorted to a high standard but the best bit was a gorgeous swimming pool.
We had such a great time at this hotel that when I returned back to England I wanted to stay at another Marriott and as our anniversary was coming up it seemed ... ...up for christmas at a Marriott hotel I studied the brochure and chose the Marriot in Portsmouth I was looking foward to it very much.
When Christmas(2004) finally came around we were looking foward to our christmas break and as I had just given birth to my second child only two months before it was a much needed break. The hotel had promised lots for the children and as I have a older child as well it seemed ideal. A decent but basic 2 star hotel near Bournemouth Pier
Advantages: Good value for money and good location. Disadvantages: Based on the price, none.
...about a 5 minute walk from Bournemouth pier and a similar distance from Bournemouth town centre. Its abour 2 Km from Bournemouth Railway Station. Hotel stays in Bournemouth are quite expensive so I'd recommend The Russell Court as one of the better value 2 star hotels to stay at. ...

Ramada Encore Bournemouth - Customer Service Needs Improving
Advantages: Clean spacious rooms Disadvantages: Customer service levels lets the hotel down
The Ramada Encore in Bournemouth is a well placed hotel within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants as well as the beach and surroundings attractions. At the time of writing there are over 70 Ramada hotels in the UK. ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
The hotel was easy enough to spot from the main road as it has a large sign in front to indicate its presence. We drove into the car park at the rear of the hotel and managed to find a parking ... ...lovely sight. The Ramada Encore Bournemouth has 113 rooms all of which have spy holes in the doors and chains to lock the rooms for added security.
Rating for this area: 3.5 out of 5
RESTAURANT/BAR
Our room price included breakfast for the duration of our stay and I have to say this is where the hotel excelled (the food not the service). When you arrive for breakfast you have to give your name and room number so they can tick you off the ...

Great hotel
Advantages: lovely rooms, nice food and fab facilities Disadvantages: none really
I recently stayed overnight at the chine hotel in Bournemouth whilst in the area for a friends wedding. It is currently rated as a three star hotel, but I cannot for the life of me see why as I found it to be of at least four star standard. There are 86 rooms, all of which incorporate an en suite bathroom and are decorated to a decent standard. All rooms include a hair dryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, satellite television (selected channels ... ...There are four types of rooms available in relation to the view they offer the guests. The basic room is an inland room, then there is a garden facing room and finally the sea views and sea views with balcony (the prices are slightly higher for these). The hotel has a fantastic restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily (breakfast is accompanied in the room price; however you have to pay extra for the dinner if you want it - although it is ...
