Unable to receive Internet access via my dongle (mobile broadband) I found myself without Internet access for my stay, there was not even a wired Internet option like a lot of hotels have. I could happily live without a playstation, but if I had company that had been expecting it like one of my kids, it could undoubtedly lead to disappointment. Marriott hotels - could be better! Advantages: Many hotels have lesuire facilties, food normally very good Disadvantages: can be expensiveMarriott ...had of staying in a Marriott hotel was in Los Angles and I was most impressed the food was well above average and the staff could not have been more helpful the room we had was very large with two queen sized beds and decorted to a high standard but the best bit was a gorgeous swimming pool. A decent but basic 2 star hotel near Bournemouth Pier Advantages: Good value for money and good location. Disadvantages: Based on the price, none. ...about a 5 minute walk from Bournemouth pier and a similar distance from Bournemouth town centre. Its abour 2 Km from Bournemouth Railway Station. Great hotel Advantages: lovely rooms, nice food and fab facilities Disadvantages: none really I recently stayed overnight at the chine hotel in Bournemouth whilst in the area for a friends wedding. It is currently rated as a three star hotel, but I cannot for the life of me see why as I found it to be of at least four star standard. There are 86 rooms, all of which incorporate an en suite bathroom and are decorated to a decent standard. All rooms include a hair dryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, satellite television (selected channels ... ...There are four types of rooms available in relation to the view they offer the guests. The basic room is an inland room, then there is a garden facing room and finally the sea views and sea views with balcony (the prices are slightly higher for these).
