YMCA or VILLAGE HOTEL?
Advantages: A comfortable well equipped hotel in Warrington Disadvantages: Mainly suited to the business traveller
...me that The De Vere Village Hotel and Leisure Centre was only five miles from the village of Walton and the crematorium.
As we spent a leisure break at a De Vere Group hotel in May, and liked the standard of the accommodation offered, I made a reservation for Bed and Breakfast in a twin room at The Village Hotel.

Advantages: Great value & great service Disadvantages: None
...weekend Spa Break at the Park Royal as a birthday treat for my wife that was booked through Spabreaks.com and felt the need to say how wonderful the whole experience was. All the staff were friendly, helpful & courteous, ensuring all our needs were met during our short stay. The room itself contained all the facilities required (internet, trouser press, iron, TV) and was comfortable, clean and well maintained with a modern bathroom suite. The lesuire ... ...jacuzzi, pool, sauna and heated loungers. Unfortunately the steam room and experience shower were out of use during our stay. The Spa itself was very tranquil. The hour long massage was blissful and unfortunately the time passed too quickly. My wife had a half hour massage and mini pedicure with she thoroughly enjoyed. There was a good choice of food on the evening menu and although quite expensive the restaurant was full of local diners, a good ...

Christmas at Cranage
Advantages: Attractive hotel, good facilities, excellent party atmosphere Disadvantages: Expensive bar prices, rude waiting staff
...with his work colleagues at Cranage Hall which is in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. As this was some distance from home, we treated ourselves to a night away in the hotel without the kids, making a good night even better! Cranage Hall is part of the Principal Hayley group of conference venues and hotels but for us it was the setting of our Christmas 'do' and a well-deserved night away. Christmas Deals
Our party had taken advantage of one of the ... ...when we pulled up outside Cranage Hall. The exterior is very grand and imposing and it was much bigger than I expected. Our sat nav managed to direct us to the hotel without any problems as the hotel is just a couple of miles out of Holmes Chapel, in the village of Cranage. There was more than adequate car parking available, despite the hotel being packed with other Christmas revellers, although it did mean a short walk over to the main entrance ...

The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral.
Advantages: Clean and fresh Disadvantages: Like a rabbit Warren
The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral
Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70.
We joined, my wife and I, on the ‘Flexi’ promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ‘Full’ 12 month tie in.
Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and ... ...to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70.
If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel.
A fair few incentives but to be honest we just want to use the leisure facilities.
My wife is recovering from Breast Cancer and she has some back problems resulting from the Radiography. She also has restricted movement in the arm and shoulder from where the lymph glands where removed so we initially joined for ...

Jacobean Splendour?
Advantages: The driveway!, Beautiful brand new bedrooms, picturesque surroundings, excellent service Disadvantages: none
...in the hands of the Crewe family for around 300 years until ownership changed in the 1900s. The building itself is a Grade 1 listed building, which gives you an idea of its significance. As I drove up through the gates of the hotel and down the tree-lined drive, I knew I was about to see a very special hotel. The gardens and driveway are impeccably manicured and there is ample parking to the front of the property, despite it being fairly ... ...break sometime soon.
Overall, Crewe Hall is a very memorable hotel, yet is suitable for guests on business or leisure and I know I will be back for a two night break before too much longer particularly as there is plenty to see and do in this area and especially as it is close to family and friends for me.. Two night offers are available from £189 for two people total package, and this does include dinner in the restaurant on the first night. Crewe ...
