All you need in a hotel Advantages: central location, decent rooms Disadvantages: none The Holiday Inn in Plymouth is located on Armada Way, up towards Plymouth Hoe. This is a good central location for the Hoe, the Barbican and the city centre, which are all within walking distance. There are 211 rooms in the hotel, all of which have tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV, desk, bathroom and wardrobe. Each room has individual temperature controls. Rooms available include family, wheelchair accessible ones and also non smoking ... ...aids available. These include portable induction loops, vibrating pillow and flashing light alarms, large print menus and refrigerated medicine storage. There is a car park at the hotel which is a multi story car park. There is also a small open air car park across the road which seems just as secure. When parking, my advice is to use the open air car park as the multi story one is not really made for modern cars. Premier Inn Gatwick - Exceptional value for money, comfy & clean! Advantages: Excellent value for money, very comfortable, clean and tasty food. Disadvantages: A bus ride away from the North terminal I have flown from Gatwick airport early in the morning on several occasions and have always found it much easier to stay the night before and leisurely wander over to the North Terminal in the morning rather than try and make my way down in the car or on the train. I have stayed at both the Sofitel at Gatwick and the Premier Inn therefore, will review both however please be aware this is for the Premier Inn at Gatwick. We had a great time at The Shears Inn, Collingbourne Ducis Advantages: A place to relax and unwind in the countryside, with excellent food. Disadvantages: Can't think of any ...from a short stay at The Shears Inn at Collingbourne Ducis. This lovely thatched inn is enhanced by the quality of the welcome received, the relaxed atmosphere and the excellent food and drink, served by Sophie, always with a smile. We were just 15 minutes away from the stunning Stonehenge, where we enjoyed our visit on a cold but sunny morning, and 20 minutes from the lovely town of Marlborlborough where there is lots to do and see. Stunning hotel both inside and out Advantages: The room, the price, everything really except the car park Disadvantages: The car park! Thought I would share my experience staying at this hotel last year. When I originally booked I just wanted a standard room, unfortunately they were all booked so the person on the phone said I could have a family room, which would be the same price. The hotel is a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with Manchester city centre, however the main problem is the car park - TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! CAR PARK It's way too small for the number of ... ...When I arrived around 5pm it was full and I was not the only person disppointed. However the hotel had employed someone to direct you to another carpark, the problem was he was as much use as a chocolate teapot!!
