super food, great venue! Advantages: large gardens Disadvantages: n/a This is a lovely hotel: Nice building, great surroundings. That is just the beginning of the "Mount Pleasant" experience. The food isnt cheap but it is worth it. Decor in the restaurant is lovely and the staff cannot do enough. The restaurant serves seasonal dishes prepared from local ingredients and you really can tell. The Mount Pleasant is six miles from the town centre and three miles from the airport. The Race Course is five miles from the ... ...The hotel is a two-storey Georgian country house and is situated in 100 acres of parkland. Public areas have wireless Internet access, and the Therapie Spa offers a range of face and body treatments. The front desk is open 24 hours and parking is free. This is an ideal choice for a wedding - seen photographs from the gardens and they're wonderful. theme nights are excellent! Advantages: reasonable prices Disadvantages: dancefloor is like a trampoline! The Danum Hotel is at the top end of High Street right in the middle of Doncasters pub scene. there are some great pubs and restaurants on the doorstep of this hotel making it an ideal place for hen and stag dos. With plenty of kebab shops nearby you'll also not get those midnight munchies! The Danum Hotel has all ensuite rooms and wireless internet which is really useful if you go on business. 20's style in doncaster Advantages: close to town centre Disadvantages: can be noisy at night due to road. The Earl of Doncaster hotel was built in the 1920's and retains alot of the character from this period. They cater for weddings, christenings etc with a range of function rooms varying in size depending on your party. The restaurant is light, bright and airy and still retains the 20's charm. Rooms Generally good sizes with usual facilities. Nothing out of the ordinary with regards bathrooms, extras ect. Average price around £67 per room b&b. Bar ... ...Restaurant Has got better over the past few years. Menu has been better designed and food appears to be back to the quality it was 5-6 years ago. Special nights are organised and the Valantine's one is particually good. Pianist is good when he's playing. Overall Good hotel with average facilities. Worth trying for an evening meal.
