Oakleigh Guest House
Advantages: A warming, pleasant atmosphere with spotless rooms and good service Disadvantages: Decor not particularly modern
...couple of rooms at the Oakleigh Guest House as I had heard good reviews on the place from friends.
~Location~
Oakleigh Guest House is situated right in the heart of Stourport on Severn town centre so is in a perfect location to access all the local amenities. However it is situated far enough away from the main High Street so that you don’t get the noise from the pubs on a Friday and Saturday Night. The guest house is situated on York Street ... ...area, then you can’t beat Oakleigh Guest House. A family run long standing business where customer service is excellent and the standard of the rooms and breakfast is very good. Transport links are good and rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. I recommend this place highly. ~Contact Details~

Luccombe to this hotel
Advantages: Great Location, Staff and Views Disadvantages: Noisy Windows
The Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel is in the South Eastern town of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. It is one of four hotels owned by a family. The others are: Luccombe Hall Hotel (sister hotel in Shanklin) The Hermitage (St Catherine's Down - outside Ventor) Melville Hall Hotel and Utopia Spa (Sandown) The Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel to now be known as Luccombe Manor in this review, has four acres of land and great cliff top views of the ... ...Luccombe Hall Hotel to be known as Luccombe Hall from now on, the hotels share some facilities like the indoor and outdoor pools, both located in the Luccombe Hall, which is the bigger hotel. We arrived ready to check in at 3pm, and were greeted by a friendly woman who was very chatty and helpful, she told us about the hotel and its facilities and directed us to our room (even carrying my bag). The Price: Dates/Season/Cost Per Night Mon-Thurs/ Fri ...

Cayton Bay
Advantages: Good entertainment Disadvantages: Bad drainage
...Haven holiday, (although this is Park Resorts and similar), so, when the vouchers in the newspaper once again became available, we once again collected the vouchers to get a caravan!
We had to chose 5 dates and 5 parks and within a few weeks, were allocated Cayton Bay. We once again chose the Scarborough area because we wanted somewhere close enough so that the journey wasn't arduous but far enough away so that Little Miss felt as though she was ... ...as a base.

FINDING THE PARK
We had the tom tom set with the post code so it was easy to find and about 20 miles from Eden camp where we had visited on the way from Newcastle. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby and only 100 yards from the beach, it is ideally situated to do a spot of sight seeing. There are lots of caravan parks on the stretch of road but all well ...

Value for money but you get what you pay for.
Advantages: Close to local shps and restaurants etc. Friendly staff. Disadvantages: Old, tired, bit unorganised and messy looking
Spent a weekend at the hotel, and I have to say I was not overall impressed with the standards of the place. I cannot fault the service however, the service was excellent, and the staff very friendly and pleasant. The let downs came mainly with the rooms and breakfast. The decor was old and tired, which I appreciate is purely a cosmetic issue, but it is hard not to notice badly patched-up wallpaper... The pieces used to cover up the tears were not ... ...existing pattern. It made the walls look tatty. The window in our room had a broken latch which meant it could not be locked. There also seemed to be some problem with the actual window frame, like swelling, as I couldn't physically shut the window, it just jammed at a certain point leaving about an inch gap open. Our room backed onto service entrances and fire escapes of other buildings, so it would have been easy for someone to climb up and break ...

Chateu Impney Droitwich
Advantages: A wonderful hotel Disadvantages: None that I found
I was taken to the Chateau Impney in Droitwich, Worcestershire for the first time recently as it was my Mothers birthday and she has booked for the whole family to have a carvery here. My partner and I thought we would stay overnight so we could each have a drink and not have to drive home. The approach to the Chateau was breathtaking. There was a long sweeping drive which was about ½ mile long and up a slight hill. At the top of the hill was a magnificent ... ...~Brief History~
The Chateau Impney was built in 1875 by John Corbett as a present to his wife (some present!) who was a French governess. They had fallen in love in Paris and were stunned by the beauty of the French Chateaux in the Loire Valley that they decided to build their own piece of magnificence back in England. ~The Chateau Itself~
The Chateau Impney is set within 155 acres of parkland as well as building lakes, waterfalls, tropical ...
