Advantages: beautiful old house, lots of facilities
Disadvantages: mainly caters for the (much) older generation

Green Dragon - Roaring success?

Advantages: Good location, good customer service
Disadvantages: A little "faded grandeour" and maybe TOO good customer service!

...know quite a lot about the hotels in the area, despite rarely requiring them myself! The green dragon is a hotel right in the centre of Hereford. There is no need to get a taxi anywhere central from the Green Dragon. Basic ok for overnight stop

Advantages: Central location
Disadvantages: Basic ok for overnight and short stays.

Stayed at this hotel on several occassions, usually booked in the Travelodge Sale, and always been satisfied. Rooms are basic and good value when booked at discount, but we feel the Premier nearby offers better value if paying the full rate. Rooms have basic tea making facilities, bathrooms with showers over and basic tv packages. Beds have always been comfortable and extra bedding provided on request. Basic but a good overnight stop

Advantages: Good location, basic accomodation good value at discount rate
Disadvantages: Basic, only ok for short stop over or base.

...are basic as with all travelodge Hotels and have either a bath or shower room. Each room has basic TV and tea making facilities. Beds have been comfortable on each visit and each bedding/pillows provided when requested. Premier Inn Gatwick - Exceptional value for money, comfy & clean!

Advantages: Excellent value for money, very comfortable, clean and tasty food.
Disadvantages: A bus ride away from the North terminal
