Fantastic Hotel

Advantages: very central to all the local tourist attractions
Disadvantages: a boring route round the m25 to get there from surrey!

...anyone who thinks that all Best Westerns are just business mens hotels. Dont bother going to kings lynn tho, we tried to see if it was worth a visit on the harleys but we were faced with horrid industrial estates and one way systems. We stayed in the new wing, which despite having settlement cracks which is to be expected was 5 star standard. ...

In A House In The Country

Advantages: Welcoming service, excellent food
Disadvantages: Chintz!

Lydney House hotel is a former Georgian Merchant's House, based a few minutes walk from the centre of the market town of Swaffham in Norfolk. It is a place that my parents always choose to stay at in the area, and for my step-dad's birthday last month, I got to visit it too. Swaffham is a pleasant enough town, with a nice church, the shops aren't great and there are a lot of fast food and takeaway type places, but generally it is a good location ...

Maid for a wonderful stay

Advantages: Historic property, recently refurbished rooms, good breakfast
Disadvantages: Front desk staff who don't know what's going on

...summer I wound up selecting the four star Maids Head Hotel which is part of the Folio Hotels group. My parents spent a week there leading up to the wedding so we were in and out of the hotel all week. My brothers spent three nights in a room with two twins. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the Cathedral Suite the night before the wedding and then my husband and I stayed there the night of the wedding. Most of my husband's family also stayed in the ...
...feedback on the property. THE LOCATION The Maids Head Hotel is on the roundabout of the popular Tombland area in Norwich. There are a range of restaurant chains right on the doorstep including Whetherspoons, La Tasca, Café Uno and Zizzi's. It is also right next to the Norwich Cathedral. It is a walkable distance from both the railstation and bus station but those with luggage who are arriving to either of those locations would probably like to take ...

Place to stay or visit if you travel to Norfolk

Advantages: Good Food, Good Reputation, Clean & Friendly
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

An independant 3 star family business, the only in Great Yarmouth, even though I live in Great Yarmouth, and I have stayed here once, due to a night out. It was very comfort and the staff were very pleasant. To stay the night it cost me £74.00 including breakfast for me and my partner, and we had a lovely sea view room, and the room was very comfortable, it even had an ironing facilities in the room, the first I had even seen. tv, en-suite, tea & ...
...of cerals and fruits, with a full English breakfast, it even offers kippers and bloaters and kidneys the first menu I had seen with fish and kidneys offered, I didnt dare go for that, I stayed safe with the full english breakfast and it was cooked to perfection! The hotel has a bar on the ground floor, which over looks the wellesley football pitch and the bar can be quite at times. Looked at the Restaurant menu, and its quite pricey, but I am sure ...

Graham Ross

Advantages: Genuine friendly staff and rooms with a homely touch.
Disadvantages: Years of neglect by previous owners does show if you look for it.
