Cedar Court left me wanting more!

Advantages: Close to M62. Wide range of facilities.
Disadvantages: Robotic staff, boring rooms. Testosterone fueled bar.

...office, happens to be the Cedar Court Huddersfield. I have stayed there once but wouldn’t rush back. The only thing going for it in my opinion is the closeness to the M62 and the cheap corporate rate! Arrival The hotel is situated just off the M62 at Ainley Top making it handy for the local road links. the Huddersfield Hotel

Advantages: near to town
Disadvantages: see below

We arrived at the hotel to friendly if a little bit sweaty reception staff, we were told we would have to pay cash for our room as the card machines were out of order and parking was across the road at a small busy pay at meter car park. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, the stairways and corridors to our room were grubby and in dire need of refurbishment, the door to our room was very tatty, we went in with some trepidation, ...
...not dissapointed, the room was very dated, grubby carpets, polystyrene tiles on the ceiling, which were very stained, wallpaper peeling and old furniture, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned, the taps and plugholes were rusty and there was a big puddle on the floor, we overlooked a strip club and a busy road and there was a lot of noise well into the night from the surrounding bars. Appalling Customer Service

Advantages: The food was fine.
Disadvantages: The customer service was appalling.

Basic ok for overnight stop

Advantages: Central location
Disadvantages: Basic ok for overnight and short stays.

Stayed at this hotel on several occassions, usually booked in the Travelodge Sale, and always been satisfied. Rooms are basic and good value when booked at discount, but we feel the Premier nearby offers better value if paying the full rate. Rooms have basic tea making facilities, bathrooms with showers over and basic tv packages. Beds have always been comfortable and extra bedding provided on request. Review of Travelodge, Hemel Hempstead

Basic but a good overnight stop

Advantages: Good location, basic accomodation good value at discount rate
Disadvantages: Basic, only ok for short stop over or base.

...are basic as with all travelodge Hotels and have either a bath or shower room. Each room has basic TV and tea making facilities. Beds have been comfortable on each visit and each bedding/pillows provided when requested. The hotel is just off the main A303 but we have never had any issues with noise but have not opened the windows either.
