Crate Expectations

Advantages: Delicious food. Generous portions. Welcoming ambience. Friendly service.

Not such a jolly good show from the sailors

Advantages: Massive portions. Cheap and cheerful. The pub houses a brewery.
Disadvantages: Rather tatty pub. Not that warm inside. Food was rather hit and miss.

I won't mince my words here…

Advantages: Excellent value menu at Locals Night. Super friendly service. Warm and welcoming pub.
Disadvantages: Poor response to their online booking system. Grit in side salads.

Just the One Shade of Grey

Advantages: Friendly service. Good value Groupon deal. Nice refurbishment of the venue.
Disadvantages: Uninspiring menu. Lacking in atmosphere. The food wasn't all that special.
