After 12 km you will find the town called Naturno and around 2-3 km on your right you will find a street indication to Val Senales. You have to drive until Maso Corto. The aerial ropeway leaves from the the small village of Maso Corto. This village is on 2000 meters, and in only six minutes by aerial ropeway you will arrive at 3200 m. When you will arrive at the top you will see the top of the mountains full of snow&ice. From here leaves also the longest track that through the glacier, 8 km from the top to the village, with an unevenness of 1200 m. Some cable railways and skilifts allow to cover also single features of tracks, because to do always 8 km, is not easy...my legs would cry. You will find a big Hotel on the top and 3 or 4 restaurants and pubs. In the big hotel there is a small museum dedicated at Oetzi, the mummia. There is the possibility to do trekking or to visit some caverns. You can skiing in summer too, from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, but of course not in all the area, but only for arround 8 km...and it's not possible to arrive with the ski to Maso Corto. What I can tell you, don't go skiing there in winter, because it's to cold and windy. I were there once with -28...I went immediately in a pub to take a hot chocolate and a slice of cake.
In Maso Corto is located a hugh hotel with swimmingpool, tennis, footballcamp, Spa. It's not a shopping paradise, you go there for enjoy the quite, the mountains......
