valencia something for all
Advantages: good accesibility, fun for all the family Disadvantages: busy roads, queuing traffic, noise pollution in some areas.
...arts and sciences, while in Valencia i visited many of their popular tourist attractions, valencia has it all, museums, parks, beaches, and alot of local festivals which are celebrated throughout the year.
in my opinion 'las fallas' is one that you must see.
nightlife in Valencia is very popular and one of their largest attractions with alot of night clubs (in some areas there will not be many) Valencia is also a major city for sports events and ... ...formula 1.
i would recommend valencia to people that are looking for a bit of everything in their holiday as you can find quiet and you can also find lively times.
shopping is also a major thing in Valencia with the large shopping centre that they have which is surrounded by restuarants and hotels, very near to the centre.
however i would say that although there is excellent accessibilty in Valencia, it is always very busy throughout the day and ...

Valencia - perfect for all!
Advantages: fun for all ages, great shopping, weather, food, nightlife. Disadvantages: In the summer months, make sure your hotel has a pool or you might find the heat a little too much
Valencia is easily one of my favourite cities in the world - the people are incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and with great bus and train routes it's the perfect base from which to explore the rest of Spain, not to mention the rest of Europe.
- Getting there and away - Valencia airport is just 20 minutes out of town and this is what makes it such a wonderfully accessible city. If you're arriving by plane there rarely seem to be any delays ... ...The weather in Valencia is generally lovely although like all places it has it's share of rain. However temperatures are rarely overly cold, and from February til November it's usually extremely mild, obviously in the summer months being extremely hot though, so make sure your hotel has a pool.
Value for money - shopping and food is great value for money in Valencia. However, if you go out drinking you will notice that in some places drink prices ...

A nice little city.
Advantages: Unknown place and many little places undiscovered to the tourist Disadvantages: Not too lively in the week
Its fair to say Valencia only lights up at the weekend. Me and my friend spent a night here on our way back from benicassim festival 2008, so we were used to spending our nights dancing to electronic and dance music until the very early hours....
We arrived at our nice hostel. via the excellent metro system direct from the airport. It was almost too easy. We then set off to check out the mestalla football stadium where valencia CF play their games. ... ...lovely cobbled stone area. There were a lot of other bars of this type around as well. It is a very unknown place valencia but give it time i believe it can combine its history and retro spanish feel into a popular place for people to easily come and visit. ...

VALENCIA IN MARCH: A MUST SEEN! (FALLAS)
Advantages: The Festivity is amazing Disadvantages: almost the whole city centre is closed to traffic, but we have feet to walk!
...Thank you.
VALENCIA AND "FALLAS" : MUST SEEN
I lived in Valencia (Spain) for about 5 years, and I have to say that being Spanish, but from the North, this region has nothing to do with my own region. There are people that think that Spain has almost the same culture everywhere, but this is not completely true, and some regions have a specific culture and events that you will not find anywhere else in Spain. This is the case of Valencia, especially ... ...most important Fallas are in Valencia City, although there are other towns and cities in the region that also celebrate this festivity. You will not find the Fallas anywhere else in Spain. I am from the Northwest, and I knew just the basics of this festivity, but when I lived in Valencia and I saw all the work that is behind, I really understood what is so special about them.
FALLAS IN DETAIL:
Versions about the origin of the Fallas:

More to Valencia than oranges
Advantages: History, good food and attractions Disadvantages: Maybe not geared up for tourism
...tidy and interesting approach to Valencia Airport and the start of a short break to Spain's third largest city, one steeped in history and nowadays mainly a commerce centre for a vast range of commercial and industrial enterprises as well as those working the La Huerta ( the green belt of most fertile land which sees up to four harvest in a year of a huge range of vegetables, fruit and of course oranges).
After such a pictorial airways entrance ... ...was time to get into Valencia and explore its many historic and modern attractions.
I flew Ryannair which took around an hour and a half and then I took a taxi into the city but it is easy to take a train or bus and at a reasonable cost too. This was a budget holiday so I stayed in a hostel on the perimeter of the Old Centre and I am really pleased I did.
The brochures say you don't need to use the public transport as it's easy to walk around the ...
