Advantages: It must be the most photogenic place on the island. Disadvantages: Can be exspensive but you can visit for the day.
can get to Ia by taking a local bus from Thira ( Santorinis capital town) which only cost a few euros. If you are staying in one of the resorts like Perissa you will need to take a local bus to Thira and then from there catch the bus to Ia. Please take care at the bus depot as the buses there reverse without warning even when passengers are standing behind them queing for other buses.

Advantages: beautiful scenary, black sand, Aegean sea, Vulcano, rich history Disadvantages: bus connections
I have spent a week vacationing on Santorini. The reason why I have chosen Santorini over the other 1400 Greek Islands, was my profesor who goes there rugularly and is completely in love with it. All his describing of the island made me decide to go there.
Santorini is a small group of volcanic islands located in the Aegean Sea about 200 km south-east from the mainland of Greece. The Greek islands are devided into island groups and Santorini belongs into the island group of the Cyclades. It's spread on 73 sq km and has a population of about 13,600 people.
1.) TRANSPORTATION
Buses: They were my main form of transportation for exploring the island.
The transfer between the airport (which is about 8 km away from Thira/Fira - »capital« of Santorini) was easy to find, there were plenty of buses that had hotel names written on them - so ...
Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.
WHAT?S IN THE BOX
WSR comes packaged with the game (in its own DVD ...
