I have been visiting Venice since I met my husband in 1997 My husband proposed on a gondola under the bridge of sie. (can't spell that) It is trully the most romantic city in the world.
Walking around in Venice is the best thing in the world. They have the most wonderfull food in the world,. The cheese, the gelato everything.
We took our two daughter there when they were 3 and 4, and they had a great time. It was interesting getting around with strt strikkers, We made up bumper babies, as the ride was a little rough,
Venice is trully worth the trip, the travel and the money. We took a water taxi to the airporon leaving. We did it at sunrise, it was trully spectacular.
