The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town.
It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. I have stayed at the Safari Court twice. Both times it was very busy and appears to be one of the most popular hotels in Windhoek for international travelers and businessmen. Everything was very professionally done. The rooms were well appointed with two double beds. The AC worked well. The bathrooms were fairly spacious. The reception area got very busy at times and one might have a wait to get their key.
The lounge was comfortable with plenty of open seating areas for reading the local paper. The restaurant has excellent a la carte selections that were surprising for their quality. A buffet was available for breakfast and dinner with typical breakfast fare. The dinner buffet offered many selections including local game such as oryx and lots of different appetizers. The Riverside CourtHotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City.
It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets.
