A World Heritage Site and one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World, this is the largest curtain of falling water on earth, with Zambia on one side and Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) on the other.
Dr. David Livingstone first set eyes on Victoria Falls in 1855 and was immediately enthralled, and yet, to this day the gentle grumbling still reminds us that this is one of the finest natural places to visit on earth! A bridge (both rail and road) was constructed by Charles Darwin's son, which joined Zimbabwe and Zambia.
There is plenty to do and see for the more adventurous visitor. Bungee jumping, white water rafting are but only two of various activities to take part in. Canoe and walking safaris are also on offer by the many tour operators. For the sporting type, golf can be played at a local hotel's golf course. Inevitably, you may find yourself the object of scrutiny by the many wild animals local to the area.
For those wishing to visit the local Crocodile Farm, this can be organised on your behalf if you so wish.
Hotels/lodges are plentiful to suit various budgets.
Victoria Falls is sure to be kept in your most memorable places!!

Advantages: superb setting, great food, easy access, private (max. 18 people) Disadvantages: I haven't found any yet, but read the guide I have written below for some possible problem areas.
