From this station we can go any sub-urban area of the Mumbai.Near this V.T. station the Famous destinations like GATE WAY OF INDIA is 2 km long which is built by British on the end of sea of Arabi sea. It is the historical monument . Near this Gate way of India the other famous place is Hotel TAJ or TAJMAHAL. which is 5 star but very expencive hotel From Gate way of India one can go buy small small cruises to ELEPHANTA CAVES which are situated 25-35 km which are like Ajanta caves but situated in the sea.Going is much cheeper from Gate way of India nearly 50 rupees only per person.
