Lego Mindstorms NXT
This was bought on eBay, the UK site. The item was new and unused. All of the bags were unopened. It cost £110 which was a considerable saving on the high street price. I have to say that for me this was the only way it would really be afforded. I am a regular eBayer and so I was more than happy with this type of purchase.
The item was bough for my little boy who is just six. He had been looking at it for a long time, he is really into lego and robotics. The item is actually for an older age group 10+. But he is able to work away on the instructions with supervision. Building the robots is fine for him but he has some problems with the programming language. This is an age cognitive thing and he will pick it up. We have built two stock designs and they have worked well. We are working ...

Advantages: Small, lightweight, hours of fun, cheap Disadvantages: Nothing!
My little boy Harry has been dragged around the shops with me since he was about 3 weeks old. Consequently, he rather loves sitting in the big supermarket trolley being Daddy's trolley helper when we do our weekly shop. So when it came to thinking of things for Father Christmas to bring Harry, we couldn't quite resist buying him this little trolley!
The trolley is made the company Smoby, who produce a large range of children's toys, available in toy shops and all across the internet. The trolley comes in the colours of light blue and a lime green, with fetching red wheels. The wheels are held on by plastic screws which are nice and sturdy and rotate smoothly, and squeak free! It also has a sticker on the side of the basket which reads "Let's Shop" in case us mummies and daddies forget what it's for! It is made of sturdy plastic ...

You may have seen a rather comical television commercial advertising this new Internet service. The gimmick is very simple - name your own price for airline tickets. The advert shows lots of silly oafs who thought that because they got a cheap airline ticket, then they would have to load their own baggage or be transported on the luggagetrolley. My particular favourite moment is when the air stewardess opens the overhead compartment and instructs the man to come out. Poor chap - he probably realised that there was more legroom up there.
Name your own price? Sounds good to me. I'm off to Sydney for a fiver. But is it that simple?
