The Hotel (English tourist board 3 diamond rating)
The hotel is a medium sized "gay friendly" hotel that caters for everyone, it has about 30 rooms all of which are en-suite, and all have the normal tea/coffee making facilities, phone and TV that you get in most ... ...facilities mentioned above the Vidella do not charge for single occupancy either, which is great if you are traveling on your own the rates start from about £30 per night which includes B&B and evening meal although you can stay just on a Bed and breakfast basis which is slightly cheaper but be assured with the quality home cooked food served you probably won't want to eat anywhere else.

The Hotel (English tourist board 3 diamond rating) The hotel is a medium sized "gay friendly" hotel that caters for everyone, it has about 30 rooms all of which are en-suite, and all have the normal tea/coffee making facilities, phone and TV that you get in most places. There is parking for guests and also a bar and dining room.
On arrival you are greeted by the some of the most helpful people you can meet with the cheery smile and friendly atmosphere, nothing is to much trouble for any of the guys that own and run the hotel or there staff.
The Rooms All the rooms are very nicely laid out with pleasant decor and very importantly all are spotless, rooms are available on the ground floor for those that prefer and as well as the facilities mentioned above the Vidella do not charge for single occupancy either, which is great if you are traveling on your own the rates start from about £30 per night which includes B&B and evening meal although you can stay just on a Bed and breakfast basis which is slightly cheaper but be assured with the quality home cooked food served you probably won't want to eat anywhere else.
The Food
The food is fantastic, freshley cooked using local produce. Breakfast is cereal, fruit juice and toast followed by freshly cooked full English breakfast (ideal to start the day off if you intend to be out and about and don't want to pay through the nose at the attractions)
The evening meal consists of 3 course's ( you have got to try the homemade soup (Broccoli and Stilton was my favorite) and the main meals are all traditional home made meals with massive portions (just remember to leave room for the pud, because this is superb ( i even had the cheek to ask for seconds) which was no problem and at no extra charge maybe they just liked me )
They can cater for specific dietary needs such as vegetarian or diabetic or any other(see nothing is to much trouble for them)
The Bar A warm welcome is always on hand here also with plenty of games and books ect if you just want a quite night with the family maybe sample a cocktail?, or sit and have a chat with some other residents and the staff are always on hand to make you laugh and smile (they even switched the Karaoke on just for us to screech out some songs after a few beers ) ooh and if you get a little peckish? ..... you've guessed it , just ask and someone will sort you out a bar snack or sandwich at the normal, very reasonable price. The bar prices are not inflated like in alot of hotels either.
They do have live music and other events also check when you book to see whats on, They have a Christmas break on offer to which is as ever very economical and full of fun with inclusive meals!
So what do you get from the Vidella? In short, you get award winning high quality food, with the friendliest atmosphere, nothing is to much trouble everything is neat an tidy and all at a fantastic price,is it any wonder they won an award last year for hotel of the year ?
I think you will be hard pushed to find a better establishment in Blackpool, i for one cannot wait to return.
