Review of Vienna in general

Best city to get around and about

Advantages: Cheap, cheerful and always on time
Disadvantages: Car system is a bit strange

I found Vienna one of the best places to get around, maybe it might that Vienna itself is quite a small city around 15 miles long. It has so many modes of transport to choose from, the subway, trams, buses, coaches and railway system (to get around austria) as well mopeds and the good old cycles. I think the cycles were the best way to get around...what Vienna have done is have cycle stands around the city, what you do is swipe your credit card ...
...the cycle of 2euros per hour, best of all is that you can return the cycle to any other stand in the city so you dont have to cycle back to your original stand. It has cycle routes all around the city and i found it quite a safe mode pf transport. Review of Getting around in Vienna

Vienna the Jewel of Europe

Advantages: Many to choose from and always something to do
Disadvantages: Some are a little pricey

One thing that i found as soon as i landed in Vienna was the friendly people. They would actually go out of there way to make me feel at home, the taxi driver was full of information about the city and was extremly helpful at the the end of the journey where we sat for a couple of minutes and he gave us information on where everything was and things to do around our hotel as well as tips on the pubic transport. Stunning holiday destination

Advantages: Stunning architecture, very cultural and romantic
Disadvantages: Little pricey, but no more so than many large European cities
