Lovely hotel!

...brief, this was a lovely hotel to stay at- in the heart of Vienna and close to all public transport links. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. I stayed here in June 2006. Rooms: I had a single room which came with a double bed, TV, wardrobe, shower, safe, minibar, fridge and table. The hotel was next to the only gothic inspired cathedral in Vienna and the view was amazing. A right royal weekend

Advantages: Central, friendly, convenient, quiet
Disadvantages: None

OK so maybe the Hotel Royal is not quite as glitzy as the Ritz in Paris or the George V but you simply cannot beat its location, ambience and attention to detail. Harmony in the harmonie

Advantages: Comfortable, clean, firndly and helpful staff
Disadvantages: No restaurant available during our stay

Small, but perfectly formed hotel in Vienna

Excellent hotel in Vienna

Advantages: Large rooms, clean, with firendly staff.
Disadvantages: 10 minute walk to shops and cathedral

The Hilton Vienna Plaza is an excellent hotel located on the Ringstrasse in Central Vienna, I will talk more about the hotels location later on. Before I arrived at the hotel I emailed the manager with a few questions about the local area and the hotel etc. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and I received an email back with all of my questions answered which was helpful.
