The tree came out through the main ... ...and into the under ground car park, no doubt we will see it again in Jan 08 splendid with it's decorations. It took six men to carry each half and it was "egg and milk" to watch them.
The hotel is just so friendly, welcoming, light airy, clean, the food is great and breakfast can take as long as you like.

The tree came out through the main doors in two halves and was carried round the side and into the under ground car park, no doubt we will see it again in Jan 08 splendid with it's decorations. It took six men to carry each half and it was "egg and milk" to watch them.
The hotel is just so friendly, welcoming, light airy, clean, the food is great and breakfast can take as long as you like.
There are a lot of golfers in the hotel but they don’t seem to bother you as they are up and out in the morning before you even think of breakfast.
The town of Tavira is very quaint. We went on a horse and landau ride round the town that was very pleasant.
You may see the men fishing in the main river for shall fish at low tide, but even at high tide it is very shallow.
The eateries are mainly fish though as a non fish eater, I found plenty to eat, at O Patio which has a very good selection.
You must go across the straight to the sand split, which they say is the largest in Europe, and we walked for a couple of hours and the only company on the beach were 4 people in the distance. They do say you can walk all the way to Faro on the split, not willing to try yet. It’s a place to go to walk and walk and just look at the sea, but remember to take some water with you as at this time of the year it’s hot, (well for us brits) and the shops are closed down.
Advantages: Great Location in Town. Superb Buffet Breakfast Disadvantages: LARGE CHARGE FOR INDOOR POOL ETC.

For last three years we have spent 3 nights at this Hotel.
Excellent value at approx £26 per night for duble room with large buffet breakfast.
We go for ground floor pool view rooms.
Rooms very good and clean, excellent bathrooms.
Good Bar in the evenings.
Breakfast is a very large buffet style, say no more just enjoy.
There is Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Jaqusie, Sauna. all incuded at this Hotel.
Excellent location ... ...have Restaurant but they are far better in the Town.
Overall Excellent value for money at this time of year.
Will stay here again 2008 its that good.

Just returned from another 3 night stay at this very good hotel.
Again most impressed, but then at 114 EUROS for Double room for three nights with Buffet Breakfast would you not be , thats about £14 ...
