Superb Value Hotel in January. For last three years we have spent 3 nights at this Hotel. Excellent value at approx £26 per night for duble room with large buffet breakfast. We go for ground floor pool view rooms. Rooms very good and clean, excellent bathrooms. Good Bar in the evenings. Breakfast is a very large buffet style, say no more just enjoy. There is Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Jaqusie, Sauna. all incuded at this Hotel. Excellent location close to centre of tavira 5 min stroll. Hotel does have Restaurant but they are far better in the Town. Overall Excellent value for money at this time of year. Will stay here again 2008 its that good. We booked our Hotel Transfer online from Faro www.auto-faro.com excellent Service
2008 UPDATE.
Just returned from another 3 night stay at this very good hotel.
Again most impressed, but then at 114 EUROS for Double room for three nights with Buffet Breakfast would you not be , thats about £14 per night per person.
The buffet breakfast is still a marvel.
Hot Sausage, Bacon, Eggs Scrambled/Boiled and Fried. Mushrooms, Beans.
The Staff very plentiful and Smart and industrious.
Rooms large and cleaned every day, Fresh Towels every Day.
But this year there was one disappointment. They have contracted out the Spa part. So whereas the Indoor Pool and Jucuzzi used to be free they are now lumped in with the Sauna and Gym. The charge is 7.5 Euros per day per person. As we only wanted a quick swim and jucuzzi we elected not to do it.
We did complain to the management that we thought it was a bit extortionate and at least there should be a seperate smaller charge for the pool.
But having said that we will be back in 2009, and in fact have booked a Gale Hotel for our trip to Maderia next month.
