I was fortunate enough recently to stay in Villamora, a town on the Portuguese Algarve. This is a very modern town boasting a beautiful marina as well as good food accommodation and of course golf. I stayed at the Villa Sol country club, which boasts it's own championship golf course, golf pro, driving range, swimming pools, tennis courts and private beach area. This resort is about five minutes drive from the town and has five championship golf courses within a fifteen minute drive. It is only about a twenty minute drive from the airport at Faro, and fifteen minutes from the nightlife of Albuferia.
