One of THE best places to be in paris. we (my wife & baby) were there last year and it was the nicest expirience in paris.
its not a cheap hotel (it was about £180 a room a night) because you can find places (even in the best spot) for about £60 a room per night but we loved every moment there. its situated right in the middle of paris, close to loads of parking garages (undergrund parking places- about £15 for 24 hours) above a pub (where they speak good english and the service is great) and lots of other pubs and restaurants in the area as well as news agents, pharmacys, and one big shopping mall (packed full of people all the way to the last closing minutes).

Advantages: Very close to restaurants and bars in Montparnasse area and very quiet situation so you get a good nights sleep Disadvantages: None

We had a television and a mini bar although we didn't use it because the drinks were too expensive. The bathroom was clean and modern, but the shower head took a little time to get used to. We had lovely fluffy white towels ...
