One of THE best places to be in paris. we (my wife & baby) were there last year and it was the nicest expirience in paris. its not a cheap hotel (it was about £180 a room a night) because you can find places (even in the best spot) for about £60 a room per night but we loved every moment there. its situated right in the middle of paris, close to loads of parking garages (undergrund parking places- about £15 for 24 hours) above a pub (where they speak good english and the service is great) and lots of other pubs and restaurants in the area as well as news agents, pharmacys, and one big shopping mall (packed full of people all the way to the last closing minutes). the place lookes like a motel (not many rooms, something like 24) which gives it the feeling you hired the place for yourself (well the price lets you feel that as well) and its got everything you need (free internet, beautiful room filled with carpets, flat screen tv, view to the busy street, a beautifull all black marbel bathroom, breakfast in bed...) the breakfast in bed was amazing : a trolly full of food (we were only me and my wife) organic yogurts in nice pottery, steamy hot crossiants(yammy) a few kinds of fresh cheese, milk, orange juice, hot coffee, small pieces of garlic bread (butter, jems & a small jar of honey), fruit salad, cereales and more... we spent something like £2000 on this trip (4 days) and went everywhere but the thing we rememberd the most was villa mazarin, especialy the breakfast in bed, ahhh what a life....
Beautiful exclusive hotel, right in the heart of the Marais, a vibrant and lively area, quite often considered as the heart of Paris. This hotel has been entirely renovated and offers some stunning accommodation. Each floor has beendecorated in a different colour; the décor of the corridors is quite modern yet the bedrooms have a very traditional feel with beautiful material and furniture. This hotel will particularly appeal to the gay community as le Marais ishistorically the gay area of Paris and the hotel has been marketed towards gays with a no child policy. The hotel benefits from a beautiful inner courtyard but no breakfast room as yet so breakfast is served in the room. Non smokingpolicy throughout.
