We stayed in this hotel which came highly recommended from our travel agent. Having not been to Bulgaria before we weren't sure what to expect.
Due to a flight delay we arrived at the hotel at 1am. A porter was there to take our bags from the coach and patiently waited while we checked in and rented a safety deposit box (can't remember the exact amount but was minimal) This didn;t take long and as soon as we had our room key the porter showed us to our room, gave us a quick rundown of where to find things within the hotel. We did tip him (about 10 Bulgarian lev).
We left the unpacking and went straight back down to the bar (which was still open) for a quick drink. The waiting staff were very courteous and had a good understanding of English. The service was quick and the drinks bought to our table.

The hotelpark is a good large 3* hotel it is of a very high standard & much more like a 4* hotel. The hotelPark is situated in the old part of Rovinj overlooking the island of St Catherine.

Once you arrive from the airport after the 2.5 hour flight to Croatia you pull up outside the HotelPark & from the front of the hotel it looks very big & quite sophisticated.
