The towns featured are Javea, Moraira, Albir, Altea Hills, Calpe, and Denia. Costa del Sol departing on a saturday. The towns are Nerja, frigiliana, Maro, Torrox and Vinuela. mallorca departing on a saturday. Advantages: Reasonable price, easy to book

...and the car, a Fiat Punto with aircon, was very nice and easy to drive. The villa was in a nice, quiet area between Pollensa and Port de Pollensa, with spacious grounds and a nice pool. The only quibble was the fact that the hall and upstairs bedrrom lights did not work, and as we arrived late at night this was a little inconvenient. We reported this to the rep, who visited on the Monday, and she said she would get the maintenance people to sort it out. We never saw the maintenance people the rest of the week. This was a very small glitch that di not spoil the holiday but it seems silly to fall down on something that was easily put right like this. Overall a good value holiday and we will definitely be travelling with them again, hopefully soon.... Read review

Advantages: lots to do, great beach
Disadvantages: box jellyfish in the hot wet season

...Someone asked me yesterday whether they should stay in Cairns or Port Douglas and I had no hesitation in recommending the latter. It is much smaller than Cairns and far more attractive. There is loads to do in PD and surrounding area eg the Daintree River where you can take a trip to see crocodiles and other wildlife, visit the rainforest, Mossman Gorge, drive to the Atherton Tablelands where you can go hot air ballooning and of course you can do the Quicksilver trip out to the Reef. The beach at PD is superb so it's best to build a few lazy days into your schedule. There are many good restaurants in PD, a favourite of ours being the Starfish which specialises in shellfish....
