Advantages: Lots to see and do Disadvantages: not enough time
salted biscuit's (a bit like pretzels) . This cost about £12.00 and even though its pricey it was worth it. We sat for half an hour and relaxed. Capri's little Piazzetta is one of the best known squares in Italy and is a great place to sit and relax and do a bit of people watching.
~ Parco Augosto-The Gardens Of the Emperor Augustus ~
The garden's of the Emperor Augustus offer splendid views over the Certosa di San Giaciomo the harbour of Marina Piccola and the great Faraglioni rocks out in the bay. It was a clear sunny day when we were there and the views were breathtaking.

Advantages: thrilling, brill twist at the end Disadvantages: none
A well-off English woman is married to a not so well-off Italian nobleman and has acquired the name and title of Duchess Lola d?Acquaviva, quite impressive, but unfortunately her marriage is in tatters. She lives with her dog in her in-laws? villa on Capri, her husband works and stays mainly in Naples visiting her only occasionally, the persons she sees most often is her gay Italian neighbour and her cleaning lady. To occupy her mind she decides to write a book, she doesn?t have any special interests or qualifications, but the neglected villa adjoining hers, which once belonged to a well-known foreign aristocrat and paedophile, gives her the idea to write about this man.
In order to get into the mood of the period, the turn of the last but one century, and to learn more about the man she sends an email to the Englishman Simon Parks ...
Advantages: Pure beauty in a tiny island Disadvantages: VERY expensive
go to Capri.
Altogether the trip took a little over an hour, and it was time well spent. You should plan to get there early because the Grotto will be closed if the seas get too rough. It is not really suitable for the disabled.
VILLA DI TIBERIO
This is another place that you should visit when on the Isle of Capri.
An ancient legend has it that the emperor Tiberius took pleasure in having people who displeased him thrown off the thousand-root-high cliff, but there is no factual evidence of this.
Now in a state of ruin, the gigantic villa is, nevertheless, a fascinating place to explore. At its highest peak there is a chapel with a huge bronze Madonna, installed in 1979.
The villa. is open daily except Mondays and some holidays, from 9 a.m. until one hour before sunset.
On the way back, you will come to a fork ...
