I am disabled, anyone who is will tell you that travelling is a pot-luck affair. I went to Newark airport, New Jersey with Virgin Airlines. Everything was made easy. I had, of course, notified them in advance of any problems. I was given every assistance to board the plane. I was able to transfer from my own chair to the cabin chair. I was given a seat with the most leg room. On reaching Newark we came through the control to see a driver holding a card bearing our name. Virgin had supplied a car just to take us to the hotel in Manhattan, this was to save me the effort of boarding the transfer coach. They sent another to return to the airport. None of this was requested, publicised but was gratefully received. On the journey home we were given spare business class seats. As on ALL aircraft the loos were too small, but everything else - food, drinks, complimentary bags service - was perfect
