I have flown with Virgin on two occasions. Ten years ago I went to Boston. That was a mixed experience. Superb service on the way out, but on the return leg, you might have been on “Don’t Care Airlines”. We were ignored by the cabin crew, and the service was sloppy. I was apprehensive about going with them again this year to Florida.
I am happy to say that the good service was resumed. The cabin crew were lively and alert and ready to help with whatever we wanted. I loved the new goody bad they handed out. Large plastic duffel bags which are brilliant for wet swimming togs. There was a great choice of videos to watch, the only problem was fitting them all in and getting a bit of sleep as well. However, I must admit that on the way back, one programme had only action or serious drama movies and the next had 3 good comedies. I would rather watch comedies so it was not great scheduling.
I am happy to recommend Virgin and would definitely fly with them again.
