I as very impressed with my Virgin Atlantic Journey. I have read some reviews about the airline that are shocking but I had no troubles whatsoever! I was lucky enough to be upgraded at check-in to premium seating too! Once onboard I was offered assistance with my hand luggage and then once seated I was offered champagne, now I dont know if this was just because I was in the premium cabin though. The flight took off on time, no problems there. The seating area was very spacious with extendable footrest and adjustable lumbar support. I had no trouble getting comfortable for the flight. The choice of entertainment was very good also, I was stuck as to which film I wanted to watch first! All the way through the flight the crew were helpful and courteous at all times. They brougth amenity kits around for everyone.. the fluffy socks were great to keep my tootsies warm! The happily stopped to chat and always checked if I needed anything. When I mentioned I was freezing cold the crew member offered me hot chocolate and more blankets! I was well impressed! The food was ok as far as airline food goes, I was a bit peckish and could have done with a bit more but maybe thats just me! We had a pasta chicken dish with the usual bread roll and cheese etc, the crew then came round with wine to accompany our meals. Later in the flight we were offered a choice of sandwiches as a snack, sorry cant remember what the choices were though. I was lucky enough to be travelling on a familiarisation trip to Orlando, sponsored by Universal Orlando so I didnt pay for my ticket (although this had nothing to do with the upgrade I recieved as it was a regular ticket I travelled on) As I am a travel agent I have compared prices of VA to other airlines. I have found the cost of travelling with Virgin to Orlando compares very well with the cost of travelling with a Charter airline, ie MyTravel, First Choice etc. The best deals I find are on the Virgin Atlantic website. So basically, I had no problems with Virgin Atlantic and I'd love to travel with them again. Thanks Virgin!
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. It helps if you write every Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. If I can be of any help or if you decide to amend your review feel free to put a note in my gb, I’ll be happy to re-read and re-rate. Rich

I always fly Virgin to the States if I can because whenever I've used them they've always been brilliant. Last September I flew to Vegas with them and the food was really excellent (as a veggie I often have problems with other airlines).Triciax
